Community Health Worker (CHW) Training: In 2010, a colleague and I developed a hybrid CHW Training that includes three in-person days and 13 online modules. Since that time, the training has been adapted to reflect the Core Competencies for CHWs as legislated by the Massachusetts Board of Certification for Community Health Workers. The training has been adapted and used in Maine, Nebraska, Washington, Ohio (for Susan G. Komen for the Cure) and Idaho.
