Through Stefanie’s Eyes – Cairo, 2011

Today I am excited and proud to share the work of my youngest daughter, Stefanie, with my Communicating Across  Boundaries world. Stefanie is an amazing photographer. She captures the world with her lens and I view her works of art, amazed. Enjoy Cairo through Stefanie’s eyes and thanks for taking a look. Have a blessed weekend!

  1. Great pics with very interesting & unique perspectives. Makes me want to go for a visit. I’m sure these probably only represent a fraction of all the good photos she has. Keep up the good work, Stephanie!

    1. Yes, I have to say that I only got through about a fourth of the pictures I wanted to edit! This is a good peek into Cairo though! Thank you so much for the encouragement.

  2. Fantastic! These works of art confirm our artist nephew Andy Sorensen’s remarks that an artist sees things differently than the ordinary person. Yes, “Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder”. Remembering Stefanie as a vivacious young teenager, 6 years ago, at her Grandpa’s 80th birthday bash. Lovingly, Grandpa’s sister, Aunt Ruth

    1. Thank you so much! I definitely agree that artists are able to see things in different perspectives…I have know clue why and how God gives each of us unique “vision” but I feel so blessed that he gave me an eye for photography!

  3. Excellent photography. I love her work with natural light. This was a lovely walk to take this morning… I feel as though I traveled to Cairo for coffee, sat a spell taking it in, and reflecting on the beauty! Now it’s time to head outside and tackle chores!

    1. Luckily Cairo is a beautiful place to take pictures, with so much sun at all times of the year! I am glad that you were able to take a vacation of sorts, I think all travel photography should do that! Thanks so much for stopping by :)

    1. Yes, even now, a few months later, these pictures jog memories with my family and I enjoy them tremendously! We’re always keeping Egypt in prayer especially with elections going on! Thank you for stopping by and so glad to hear you’ve been to Egypt!

    1. Thank you so much! That is what I wished to accomplish. I wanted to photograph it from an outsiders perspective, but with an insiders scoop!

  5. Love the photos! So beautiful, so descriptive. I love photography that makes you feel a place rather than just see a place – and your photography does that. Lovely!

    1. Thank you so much! Yes, I agree that it’s so much better to FEEL a place. I think perspective is important in that regards, it’s as though you are seeing what I saw!
